Miss Champagne
Language Arts Teacher
Miss Champagne is a dedicated educator, accomplished theater professional, and proud aunt with over 18 years of experience in special education and a deep passion for the arts. A native of Manchester, New Hampshire, she now resides in the stunning Lakes Region.
Beth holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Language and Literature from Granite State College, where she also achieved Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) status in Language Arts and Literature. She furthered her studies at Plymouth State College in Education, Special Education (K-12), and Theatre, and also pursued Human Services at Lakes Region Community College (LRCC).
With a career spanning nearly two decades, Beth has spent 18 years in special education, specializing in classroom behavior management and autism support. Her roles as both a paraprofessional and educator, along with her expertise as an Autism specialist, have allowed her to create inclusive learning environments for students of all abilities. She has also received training in PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and American Sign Language (ASL), enhancing her ability to communicate with students in meaningful ways.
In addition to her work in education, Beth has a remarkable background in theater. She has been involved in over 100 productions, including professional acting jobs, and has participated in various choruses and musical productions. As a director, she has helmed over 15 productions and taken extensive directing classes. She is also a seasoned vocal coach, having worked on more than 20 productions, and studied accents for the stage for two years. Her involvement in the Educational Theatre Collaborative during her college years allowed her to teach workshops and perform across New England, sharing the power of theater with students.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Beth is very family-oriented. While she does not have children of her own, she has two beautiful nieces whom she loves as if they were her own. Living nearby, she is an active part of their lives, attending their school concerts, sporting events (including softball, field hockey, and basketball), and even taking memorable trips to Disney together. Her close bond with them is one of the greatest joys of her life.
Beth's deep commitment to both education and the arts continues to inspire those around her. Whether working in the classroom, on stage, or with her beloved nieces, she is driven by the belief that every individual deserves to succeed and that creativity, education, and connection are key to personal growth and fulfillment.
